Youth Mental Health
First Aid Training
At Fusion Sunshine Coast we’re passionate about providing young people with all the support they need to thrive.
With increasing numbers of young people facing mental health challenges, we’ve invested in our team to ensure we’re skilled and ready to provide both preventative support and intervention in times of crisis. Even more, we’re ready to train others to be part of a wider community response through Youth Mental Health First Aid Training.
What is Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem, or who is in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional treatment is received, or the crisis is resolved. Mental health first aid strategies are taught in evidence-based training programs authored by Mental Health First Aid Australia and conducted by accredited MHFA Instructors across the country.
