Strong Youth bright future

Here on the Sunshine Coast, we believe that strengthening young people to achieve their potential will mean a brighter future for our whole community.

Our team of passionate youth workers is continually developing our range of programs, ensuring that local young people are supported to navigate the challenges of today.

Our goal is to mentor and encourage young people to step beyond what they know of themselves, to achieve their full potential and find their purpose in life.

Our values of justice, mercy, compassion, respect and industry are the basis of Fusion’s work with young people. Incorporated into the design, goals, operational practices and delivery of our programs, they undergird our interactions with each other, the young people we work with and the wider community.

Fusion Youth

Fusion Mobile
Youth Hub

The Fusion Mobile Youth Hub is an innovative project that enables our youth team to set up a mobile drop-in-centre in youth hotspots. The trailer has been fitted-out in partnership with Buderim Foundation and the Buderim Lions Club and is enclosed in a shed donated by the Buderim Foundation. It is used at a variety of locations around the Sunshine Coast where young people are hanging out and looking for things to do. It replaces the Fusion MyBus.

Lunchtime With
a Difference

High school can be a difficult and lonely place sometimes. Fusion is there during lunchtimes to provide a fun and safe environment where young people can play games, win prizes and chat to our trained youth workers. Our lunchtime programs are currently running once a week during school terms in the following schools:
  • Mountain Creek State High School (Tuesday)
  • Palmview State Secondary College (Thursday)
  • Chancellor State College Secondary Campus (Friday)
